Subcommittee: Oversight and Implementation of Travel and Tourism Legislation

U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.), Chair of the Subcommittee on Tourism, Trade and Export Promotion, will convene a subcommittee hearing titled “Oversight and Implementation of Travel and Tourism Legislation” on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 2:20 p.m. ET. The hearing will examine federal implementation of travel and tourism legislation enacted last Congress, including the impact of Brand USA funding in the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2022, the Department of Commerce’s implementation plans for the Omnibus Travel and Tourism Act, which passed in the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, along with the Department of Transportation’s implementation of travel and tourism policies in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The hearing will also discuss the implementation of the Department of Commerce’s National Travel and Tourism Strategy that was released in June 2022.
