Subcommittee to Explore Importance of Multimodal Freight Transportation Network

WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Deb Fischer (R-Neb.), chairman of the Subcommittee on Surface Transportation and Merchant Marine Infrastructure, Safety, and Security, will convene a hearing titled “Keeping Goods Moving: Continuing to Enhance Multimodal Freight Policy and Infrastructure” at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. This hearing will examine the importance of the multimodal freight transportation network and policies needed for a growing economy.
