SCom: InnovationWASHINGTON, D.C.—The U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation will hold a hearing on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. titled “The Role of Immigrants in America’s Innovation Economy.” The hearing will examine current U.S. immigration policies and their impact on economic growth.  Immigration reforms proposed by a bipartisan group of Senators would have implications for the U.S. technology sector and universities offering science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) degrees.
