The Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation’s Subcommittee on Disaster Prevention and Prediction has announced a field hearing on the impact of a severe hurricane on Beaufort, South Carolina.

The hearing will occur on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, SC.
