U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), chairman of the Aviation Operations, Safety, and Security Subcommittee, will convene a hearing on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., titled “Stakeholder Perspectives on Improving TSA for the Security of the Traveling Public.” The subcommittee will hold its first hearing of the 115th Congress to explore stakeholder perspectives on how the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) may better serve the traveling public. The hearing will also examine the TSA’s implementation of recently-passed laws including aviation security provisions in the FAA Extension, Safety, and Security Act of 2016.
