The Committee will hear testimony regarding the ongoing efforts to reform the USOC governance structure and to fulfill the original intent of the 1978 Amateur Sports Act. Senators will also review the report recently released by the USOC recommending that Congress drastically restructure the USOC through legislation. Senator McCain will preside.
