Wicker Statement on FTC Commissioner Phillips

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., ranking member of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, today commented on the announcement from Federal Trade Commission Commissioner Noah Phillips that he would be leaving FTC this Fall:

“I appreciate Commissioner Phillips’ service at the Federal Trade Commission. I commend him for his work to protect consumers from unfair or deceptive business practices and for his commitment to enforcing the law as intended by Congress. I wish him all the best in his next endeavor.”
