Members will hear testimony on the recent actions taken by the U.S. Government to cancel a number of contracts with businesses providing aerial firefighting services, as well as the progress federal agencies have made in response to the recommendations from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) regarding the creation of a maintenance and inspection program for firefighting aircraft.
