On Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. the Subcommittee will hold a hearing on the current state of earthquake monitoring, research and preparation in the U.S., and lessons learned since the 1906 quake in San Francisco. The hearing will be held by Subcommitteee Chairman DeMint at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Witnesses will be announced when available.
