WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. Senator Ben Ray Luján (D-NM), the Chair of the Subcommittee on Communications, Media, and Broadband, will convene a hearing titled “Building Resilient Networks” at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. The hearing will examine ways in which the federal government can support deployment of resilient, redundant, and secure broadband and telecommunications infrastructure, and review the lessons learned from outage incidents. The hearing will focus on gaps revealed by these incidents and legislative proposals to improve network resiliency and reliability.
