Wicker Statement on Confirmation of FAA Administrator

WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, issued the following statement on the confirmation of Stephen Dickson as Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). 

“I congratulate Stephen Dickson on his confirmation to serve as Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration,” said Wicker. “Mr. Dickson was chosen to lead the FAA because of his experience, impressive qualifications, and commitment to ensure that safety is the agency’s top priority. I look forward to working with Mr. Dickson and expect his leadership will provide direction for the FAA at this crucial time.”

On July 10, 2019, the Commerce Committee approved Stephen Dickson’s nomination to be Administrator of the FAA by roll call vote.
