Chairman Cruz Announces Hearing for NASA and NIST Nominees

WASHINGTON, D.C. –U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, will convene a hearing to consider nominations for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the National Institute of Standards and Technology at 10:00 AM EST on Thursday, March 5, 2026. 

Nominees: 

  • Mr. Matthew Anderson, of Colorado, to be Deputy Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration 
  • Mr. Arvind Raman, of Indiana, to be Under Secretary of Commerce for Standards and Technology and Director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology
