Whistleblower Rights

Whistleblowers play a critical role in Congressional oversight. Together they have helped save billions of tax dollars, improved safety, and have held government agency officials accountable. If you would like to make a protected disclosure of information regarding waste, fraud, or abuse in a government program, agency, or event under the jurisdiction of the Committee, please call 202-224-5115 or email whistleblower@commerce.senate.gov.

Your right to share information with Congress is protected by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution in accordance with applicable laws. You may also be protected by U.S. law including the Whistleblower Protection Act of 1989 and the Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act of 2012, among others. The committee staff is experienced in conducting investigations involving whistleblowers and will ensure your identity is kept confidential unless you expressly request otherwise.
