Exploring the Value of Spectrum to the U.S. Economy

U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.), chairman of the Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, Innovation, and the Internet, will convene a subcommittee hearing on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. titled “Exploring the Value of Spectrum to the U.S. Economy.” The subcommittee will hold its first hearing of the 115th Congress to explore the future of spectrum policy and how wireless technology benefits consumers and the economy. It will also examine evolving market demand for licensed and unlicensed spectrum and the Federal Communications Commission’s recent spectrum auctions.
