Cloning Hearing Set For Thursday, March 27

The Subcommittee on Science, Technology, and Space is holding a hearing entitled “Cloning: A Risk to Women?” The hearing is scheduled for Thursday, March 27, at 9:30 a.m. in room 253 of the Russell Senate Office Building. Senator Sam Brownback (R-KS), Chairman of the Subcommittee, will preside.
Members will discuss the implications of cloning on women’s health. This is the second in a series of hearings on issues pertaining to human cloning. Witnesses will be announced at a later time.
