Commerce Committee Sets March 3 Vote on MOBILE NOW Act, Nominations

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation will hold an executive session on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. to consider S. 2555, the MOBILE NOW Act and pending nominations.

“Commerce Committee consideration of the MOBILE NOW Act is an opportunity to advance reforms that the full Senate could pass this year,” said committee chairman and bill sponsor Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.). “Once enacted, these reforms will accelerate the deployment of ultra-fast wireless connections that are critical for the next wave of Internet innovation.”
